Mission Statement
The Financial Services Cluster mission is to strengthen and provide opportunities for financial services businesses in Sarasota County promoting collaborative and educational resources for businesses and individuals.

Sarasota County has a bustling financial services sector that is comprised of  various types of businesses including banks, insurance agencies, accounting firms and wealth managers. The sector, whose businesses traditionally offer higher than average wages to employees, grew by more than 24 percent
between 2002 and 2005, and is poised for future growth.

The Financial Services workgroup hopes to not only identify growth opportunities for financial services businesses, but also collaborate with other business sectors to create a sustainable local economy.
